Rhenus Lupprians Nuclear Medical Installation
The Rhenus Lupprians Health Care Team is proud to have supported our customer in delivering and installing a new Discovery NM 630 Nuclear medicine system into Northampton General Hospital. The team kicked off the project with a site survey on 24th April, with a confirmed delivery date set for 19th May.
The medical system arrived into our specialist warehouse facilities where it was un-crated and prepared for delivery, with the Gantry and Bed being placed on specialist transport dollies. The medical system was carefully loaded onto a Rhenus 26T computer spec tail-lift vehicle with a 5T capacity tailboard. Once loaded onto our dedicated vehicles, they were ready to be despatched to site.
The specialist installations team arrived onto site at 08:00 and made the working area safe to commence installation. The route into the building commenced via the services entrance, with a long push performed by our team utilising a specialist tool, Power Pusher, whilst ensuring floor protection was used throughout to avoid damage to site.
The delivery team, consisting of 4 x Specialist Installers moved the medical system safely through the building into its final location. The team returned on Monday 21st May for the cabling and power on of the medical system to be completed.
The success of this project and the installation are testament to the excellence of all the teams involved. Rhenus Lupprians and the Health Care Team look forward to installing many more machines up and down the country and are excited to see the benefits that these systems bring to many peoples lives!
